Theresa Aguilar, BS
Theresa Aguilar is a third-year medical student at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She is from Houston, Texas and graduated from Baylor University, where she studied Biology and Spanish. Her interest in global health began sophomore year with a Global CHE medical trip to rural Guatemala.
Her interest in global health and underserved communities shaped her undergraduate activities, including volunteering at an FQHC Family Health Center, pre-medical student mentorship, medical trips to Guatemala, and Medical Spanish Pragmatics research. She is in the Primary Care Leadership Track at Hopkins and tutors for ESL at the Esperanza Center. Theresa enjoys camping, hiking, climbing, reading, and music.
