Josiah Kephart, MPH

Josiah Kephart is a PhD student in the Department of Environmental Health and Engineering at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (JHSPH) and a Fogarty Global Health Scholar. His current research focuses on the interactions between indoor air pollution and cardiopulmonary health in Peru, with an emphasis on nitrogen dioxide. Josiah’s primary research interests are the environmental epidemiology of chronic disease in Latin America, the exposure assessment of airborne pollutants, and the development of open-source data tools for health research in resource-limited settings.
