Emily Nagourney, BA
Emily Nagourney is an MSPH student in the Social & Behavioral Interventions program of the International Health Department. Her main interest within this program is on using qualitative research methods to study approaches to community-oriented primary health care. Born and raised in New Jersey, she received her BA in Natural Science from Johns Hopkins University.
Currently, she is involved in HIV/HCV testing and counseling at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and is also a research assistant in the Department of International Health on two different projects: studying the integration of oral cholera vaccine and WASH behaviors and exploring the perceptions of weight gain during pregnancy among low socioeconomic status women in Baltimore city.
