Aris Papageorghiou, MBChB, MRCOG
Aris Papageorghiou is Director of Clinical Research (OMPHI) and Associate Professor at Oxford University. He is an expert in the use of ultrasound to monitor fetal development. Dr. Papageorghiou is a BRC Senior Fellow in Fetal Medicine at the Nuffield Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and a Consultant in Fetal Medicine and Obstetrics at St George's Healthcare NHS Trust in London. He obtained his medical degree at the University of Sheffield, and completed specialization in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at St George's, University of London. While there, Dr. Papageorghiou lectured and completed subspecialist training in Maternal and Fetal Medicine. His clinical and research interests include obstetric ultrasound, normal and abnormal fetal growth, pre-eclampsia and fetal diagnosis and treatment.
